We survived! More than that- it actually went well. We made it 400 miles today with only 2 stops and are now resting in a very nice hotel with Wi-Fi and watching TV in some big nice beds. We got here in time to check in and then go to dinner, and took Lauren to the swimming pool and gave her a bath. Now we are all just winding down, in preparation for day #2. We are in Valentine, NE at the Comfort Inn. It is really nice- we have a microwave and a fridge and they had a pack-and-play with nice, clean bedding (brought my own sheets just in case). What a good day today was.

Yeah! So glad to hear it all went so well! That's a longer drive than I thought!
