What, you thought I didn't go? Ha! Jeff's dad joined us for the beer tasting event of the year... The Great American Beer Festival!!! We didn't volunteer to pour this year, we just went as guests, and it was a great time. As usual, we opted for the Saturday afternoon session where they give you real glass and pour all the best beers and the winners are announced.

Karen is not much of a beer connoisseur, so she took advantage of an afternoon alone with Lauren while we hit the festival. It was nice, but the lines at New Glarus were too long (we only got to taste Enigma, but is was wonderful...). We had fun, and got to see crazy people like this PBR guy below.
That night we played with the new Wii that Jeff got for his birthday from his mom and dad. We are looking for suggestions for fun games to play on the Wii, so please post a comment or send me an email if you have a suggestion.
On sunday we went to the zoo and Lauren got to ride the carousel, the pictures didn't turn out the best, but it was a fun day. Then on Monday Jeff's parents left and we hit the open road with the RV. I will try to post more about that soon!
